SS17 collection and a study trip to Lindex's distribution center

The past week has been very exciting at the office. Earlier this week, I participated in a meeting where a concept designer, designers and buyers presented the style and product guide for boys’ spring/summer 2017 collection. It was interesting to see which colors, prints, materials and silhouettes will be used and what are the ‘it’- things for this specific collection. I’m looking forward to see this collection next year at the stores!

During this week I also visited Lindex’s distribution center and shop online warehouse in Partille with other interns. The distribution center is a huge building and people who work there are transferring thousands of different products every day. I have only studied logistics in theory so it was interesting to see how it works in a real life. The study trip to the distribution center was also a good learning experience because now I have a better understanding of all those small details when placing orders in to our logistic system which I’m using every day.
