Hope all of you are well!
Last week we went to a big seminar in a hotel in Gothenburg. Where a lot of different e-commercers talked about their journeys', how they work and what they see for the future. It was very interesting and gave a lot of insights on how other companies see the online world.
There were speaker's from PostNord who talked about the newly-released e-barometern, which I've been using during my earlier studies and it was interesting to hear them talk about it.
Interflora presented their story on how they started a very long time ago and how they now are able to selling roses by sending a text messages.
Qliro group, Awesome group and Svenssons i Lammhult gave insight in their views.
Chiquelle talked about how they grew a lot in just a few years and how they built and uses social media.
Frida Boysen talked about social media and it was exciting to hear from the "social media-queen"
Sneakers n stuff told us about their journey and how it was growing in the beginning of the e-commerce era. And all their collaboration.
I'm really happy I got to follow the rest of the team to this event. You can't compare the things you learn in school to these in-depth and real life information directly from the business.
This blog belongs to the Master students in Textile Management at the Swedish School of Textiles, University of Borås. Primarily, the second year students, as part of their program, embark on a field study - as interns at companies in different parts of the world, as research assistants to research projects performed at University of Borås or as individual field study projects, to fulfill their quest for new knowledge.These entries represent their experiences and reflections.
