Individual field study: Literature review 2/3

Hope you all are doing great in the presentation and submitting your final report! I am going to share my journey to writing-up the report for my literature review in the field of Supply chain transparency.

While writing the findings I found some interesting facts about supply chain transparency. Technology is heavily used to ensure transparency. Blockchain technology is the most prominent of them all. Blockchain ensures the transparency of all transactions at all stages of the supply chain by storing data in an automated manner. Through the effectiveness of this technology it is not widely adopted. I tries to find the barriers and facotrs that affecting adoption of blockchain technology in the supply chain management. By the content naalysis of finally selected articles I tried to divided them into segements where the researchers tries to explore. The effect of transparency of the firm performances and consumer buying behavior is one of them which was mostly interesting. It was shown that researcher found that transparency has positive effect on consumers to pay a premium price for the product provided that the tranparency information is transmitted. It also shwas a great relation with the sustainability efforts by the brands through transparency. Researecher also found that the transparency information disclosurre of the mass and luxuray brands is not enough and log way to go. I also discusse the  discreate definition of transparency in the supply chain. Researcher use different definition and explore the transparency term differnetly in their study which make difficult to define the transparency in simple form. I tried to found the themes of the current literature and understand the present research themes of the supply chain transparency. I am now at the end of completing my report and hopefully I could deliver a fruitfull report regarding supply chain transparency.
