31 March – 14 April
The first two weeks of my internship have flown by, and I’m now starting to get into the flow of things. The first week was especially intense, filled with new impressions and plenty to learn. Much of my time was spent getting to know the company’s workflow and internal processes. I had the opportunity to follow each of the employees considering they are still a small team (4 people). During my second week, the company launched their SS25 collection. It was an exciting and hectic time, with high demand and lots of preparations to ensure customer orders were fulfilled smoothly. As the company operates exclusively online, a significant part of the work involved updating the website. This included adding new products, refreshing cover photos, handling currency conversions and maintaining a dialogue with the IT consultant to resolve any technical issues or necessary adjustments.
On the operational side, I assisted with quality checks of the garments, ensuring everything met the company’s standards before packing and shipping. After the launch, the whole team worked together in the warehouse to manage the high amount of orders, followed by handling returns.
In between helping with the SS25 launch operations, I was also involved in marketing activities. I planned the Instagram feed for the campaign period and scheduled posts for the upcoming month. Additionally, I managed content scheduling on Pinterest. A highlight was co-creating a press kit with a colleague, which we distributed to journalists and key industry contacts to generate media interest about the new collection.
Best regards,
Lilly Kungs
