Performance Marketing Intern #1

 Hi!

This is my first blog as an intern for the position of performance marketing intern. Performance is one of the most direct indicators to tell the next steps for decision-making, so so far I've had quite some experience digging into the sea of data! This work requires quite much skills of data analytics, including using tools like Google Analytics, META ads, etc. Moving on to the second week I'm here, so far I've accomplished a few data report to better understand the consumers for the company's B2C market. Interestingly, performance data in marketing is not a concrete concept, but rather a more logical indication. What matters is why the result is better or worse, and how to optimize the results to better customer journey and maximize the sales and return on investment rates. Different digital marketing indicators are quite crucial to conduct daily work, such as CPC, CTR, ROAS, etc. Because the company just started their B2C international market, many things have not yet been quite set up yet, so that comes with the challenges where I need to explore the possibilities of data integration. For the coming weeks, I will be looking deeper into the weekly and monthly adjustment for the advertisement strategy together with my mentor. This internship will for sure serve as a great start to understand more digital marketing strategy in a branded company expanding in international market.
