How to have a business strategy that scale?

Which are the check points to create a business strategy to really reach the market? I have been trying out different models and the team and I have adjusted the business model but mostly the internal process to be more efficient. There are some key points that we have been working the last months.

How long is the customer on the hook?

Discovering and changing the set up is what we have done the latest month. You would think people might want to have some time thinking when they spend a large amount but apparently not. We discover that people having so much in their mind so they are most responsive just after they have made the choice to use the product. It is crucial to know when the reach back to the customer so they don't think we are annoying them. Anyhow have I had lots of sales learning and I got lots of insight trough calling and chatting with the customers. In many cases wanted people just the interior design koncepts but without ordering the products. So to avoid that people are just utilize the service without any thought of buying the products.

How to set the right price on the product

Freemium can be a challenge have I notice. Provide interior design consultancy free of charge and products at retail prices sounds very good but it comes some challenges with it.  Firstly there is a lot of leads coming in but there is just some that converts to paying customers. Hard to tell which people that are committed as everyone says they are. So to make it clearer for the company do we at DeDecco now charge an amount after the first phonecall with the interior designer. The customer get these money back when they decide to order the products for their home interior. Through this way can the interior designer have customers that are more committed and they doesn't need to work without getting anything back. We validating this at the moment and see if it is a convenient price or not.

Team spirit is the core

Always to remember is that the Team is the core of the business. If there is some issues within it is it easy to let focus move from the business on the problems and thoughts in the team. As more we work together as more important is it to be honest. We have had a good start and I think everyone see the differents within each other. Building trust and honest is probably the most important thing to succeed as business.

Many insights and learning loops the last month, which is very good and developing.

Next post will be just before our DemoDay when I will pitch infront of investors.
