MASKA

Hi everyone,
It has been three weeks since I started my internship at MASKA. MASKA is a company dedicated to its commitment to creating clothing in the most sustainable way possible; from yarn to design to its production. MASKA means knitted stitch in Swedish, and it started off with hand knitted garments and now has both woven and knitwear. Currently, the company is working on its Autumn Winter collection 2018; with suppliers and manufacturers.

As an intern, I am working as an assistant to the sales and marketing; and therefore have been busy with updating their website with new products and their specifications, editing of product pictures for the website, creating posters and flyers for their upcoming collection as well as updating their stockist.

Last week was all about organizing the sample sale of 2018; organizing the products for sale, labelling and tagging, making posters and flyers, and sending out invites. It went rather successfully, and made me realize that people really love MASKA and what it stands for, as there were a lot of return customers as well as pre-booking for the new collection. Moreover, this has been a valuable experience for me to experience the whole process of organizing and leading this project to fruition. The next few weeks I will be working with their PR agency to mainly brainstorm and figure out the marketing plan for the A/W collection.

Will let you know everything and much more in a week.

Until then,
AJ
